Welcome to the National 4-H Volunteer Resource Hub!  The Hub is a project of the PLWG National 4-H Volunteerism Charter Group and designed to house resources to support the preparation, engagement and utilization of 4-H volunteers as well as the preparation of 4-H professionals working with volunteers.  Resources include training, lesson plans, educational and informational documents created by Extension professionals.

Resources may be used and shared with volunteers, stakeholders, and youth members (if publicly available and when applicable) as long as appropriate credit is given to the authors.

The submission process

Submitters should consider the following checklist when preparing resources for submission:

    • What parts of the experiential learning model does it include?
    • What VRKC/PRKC domain/topic does this resource align with?
    • Has it been piloted and/or used with the target audience?
    • Has it been peer-reviewed? Informal or formal?
    • Has it been published? If so, where?
    • What issue/concern that this address?

Resources should be applicable and usable outside your state and may include various types, including asynchronous training modules, activity or lesson plans, process/procedural/informational documents, etc.

Any 4-H Professional may submit resources to the HUB through the online submission portal available through the PORTAL link below:
